Audit Authority (AA)
– the national public entity with overall responsibility for auditing within the Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme (Department for Audit of Public Funds in the Ministry of Finance)

National Coordination Unit (NCU)
– the national public entity of Poland (Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy) designed to act on its behalf for the implementation of the Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme

Paying Authority (PA)
– the national public entity with responsibility for exerting appropriate financial control over the Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme

Programme Component
– otherwise known as the project, carried out with the support of the Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme, it is aimed at achieving agreed objectives and outcomes

Programme Component Operator
– otherwise known as the beneficiary, any public or private sector legal entity whom received funds from the Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme and have the responsibility for preparing and implementing a project

Programme Operator (PO)
– public sector legal entity having responsibility for preparing and managing a Programme (Polish Swiss Programme for Development of Towns or Research and Innovation Programme)
